Same as I feel for all WH press secretaries, their job is to be the mouthpiece of the Whitehouse. If you like the President, then you probably like the Press secretary because you agree with the information being given.
Honestly, if you liked the Press Secretaries under Trump then what you are saying is, I like it when the President I like has his secretary repeating the stuff I like from the President.
Because it's not like the Press secretaries were any nicer, less partisan, or less of a butthead than the current Press Secretary.
She make me miss Ari Fleisher and Tony Snow. Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Even makes me miss Don Rumsfeld, because he was so relaxed and direct with the press.
But I never watch the actual briefings; sometimes I catch a glimpse of her on Youtube or Twitter or something.
She is really no different than any other "PR" person at a major corporation.
I have no idea if she really believes what she is saying, but her job is not to believe it. Her job is to get everyone else to believe what she is saying. Unfortunately, she is not very good at her job, and the only reason she is still there is that the MSM has basically given her a pass.

I miss the whip-smart, attractive Dana Perino, GW Bush's Press Secretary.
It seems like a different time and less vitriol in those days, as compared to today's climate.
