I just checked. This thread has been viewed more times than his video at roughly 5,000 views here to 2,500 for his video. I wonder what the percentage of his views actually came from here. 50%? More?

Infectious diseases are no longer a problem in the developed world thanks to modern engineering. So we have these alphabet government orgs inventing pandemics or hyping pandemics to secure funding and interest in infectious diseases. We have the new field of virology living off of 30 billion a year grants from the NIH to find new viruses and tie them to new diseases. We have big Pharma needing new diseases to sell new drugs and vaccines. Sometimes these companies invent an entirely new disease to push meds like they do with psychiatric drugs in kids all the time (see Prozac).
Lol. The TOTAL NIH budget for FY2021 was about 43 billion. NIAID portion was around 6 billion.

Your point? Take NCI, most of the research is going towards viruses that cause cancer. You realize it was a scientist at the NCI that discovered HIV (he was studying retroviruses and their role in cancer) along with Luc Montagnier. His name was Gallo.

Your statement was nonsensical, that's all.

So now you switched to the NCI and made another bold statement.. Do you want me to quote the TOTAL budget of the NCI? Additionally, judging by what you wrote, you seem to be thinking about the intramural funding. That of course is much less than the extramural portion anyway.

I'm not switching. You're focusing on NIAID (of the NIH). I'm saying it's not just the NIAID that is studying viruses. So is the NCI, so are various other orgs. You can add it up, it's around 30 billion a year to bug hunters.

No, it's not. In fact, it's not anywhere close to that.

Could you perhaps tell us where that figure comes from?

I posted it earlier. According to AMA, U07.2 outnumbered U07.1. Of course, due to CDC guidelines, all U07.2 codes were returned, and refiled as U07.1, without any supporting diagnostic tests.
