Most of the people in my church are educated, married and parents or grandparents.
They are also liberal, believe in human rights, justice for all and helping the poor.
And follow the teachings of Jesus Christ.

America never was paradise. For some, America was always in a state of moral decrepitude.
Agreed. One look at American history will show this. Drugs, crime, those have been problems forever. From slavery to racial violence to all kinds of corruption, America has always dealt with some state of moral bankruptcy.

Yep, liberals are definitely destroying morality. Just go look at the thread about how the TV show Law & Order SVU is going to focus on an 8 year old character discovering his sexuality. I'm appalled, but most of the usual liberals/leftists are over there defending it. I think I seen only one, Joe, that is against it.
When I think of America's moral compass I think of the people not our government. Even though some regular Americans throughout our history have been morally corrupt most Americans throughout our history have not. Some in here are looking to demonize both our government and our people. Perhaps they should move to another country then.

I think it's interesting that those serving for serious crime in the prisons seem to have their own honor/moral code that is still more ethical than anything we see in D.C..
Yes the liberals are responsible for the moral decline of America but it started when the government took church and God out of the classroom.
That's some cop out bullsh-- right there. But I guess expecting a secular school to pray for your kids lets you of the hook doesn't it? NO. HELL NO. YOU pray for your kids, before they even walk out the front door of a morning. And if you're the type to say "who has time for that anymore, I have to work!" Then get your lazy ass out of bed, and your kids out of bed early enough so that there is time to pray for them before they leave for school, like my Mother did. God delegated responsibility for your children's spiritual development TO YOU, not to a school.
