Of course, left leaning Axios acts like the transformation of the Republican Party from Globalist Neocon to MAGA Freedom Lovers is a somehow a bad thing.

But there's a reason that Republican registration has taken the lead over Democrats. And it's not just because the Democrats have gone absolutely crazy. (Though that's true!)

It is nothing less than the total transformation of the Republican Party into a vanguard of the Working/Middle Class and entrepreneurs who value freedom and love of country above all else.

Out with the old, in with the new.

Who had the power:
  • The U.S. Chamber of Commerce
  • The NRA
  • The Koch network
  • Heritage Action
  • The Drudge Report
  • National Review
  • Conservative movement groups such as Tea Party Express, FreedomWorks, and the Senate Conservatives Fund.
Who has power now:
  • Donald Trump
  • Tucker Carlson
  • Family and former aides to Trump
  • Fox News
  • Club for Growth
  • Daily Wire
  • Breitbart News
  • Online influencers including Candace Owens, Ben Shapiro, Dan Bongino, Joe Rogan, Jack Posobiec, Charlie Kirk and Marjorie Taylor-Greene.
  • Steve Bannon
  • Susan B. Anthony List
Looks great to me! More power to individuals who spur support and influence via intellectual persuasion and charisma - rather than buying off corrupt politicians.

And Trump is still head King Maker:
Quote:

  • "If every Republican primary voter were aware of President Trump's endorsement," one GOP operative said, "his endorsement would be tantamount to nomination. I can't think of a time that has ever happened before."
  • Trump can occasionally clear a field. In Wyoming, a decent-sized field was lined up to challenge Liz Cheney. Then Trump announced he was endorsing Harriet Hageman and almost immediately three candidates suspended their campaigns.
  • If a candidate can't get Trump's endorsement, their operatives will want a "patina of Trump," as one consultant put it. This is why Republican candidates are scrambling to hire former Trump aides and get endorsements from former Trump officials and members of the Trump family.
  • Operatives said that of the Trump associates and family, Don Junior's endorsement is the most valuable, because he has the Trump name and will do more than just send out fundraising emails. "Don Junior will actually get out, travel and campaign for your candidate," said one operative.
The Media has also been transformed, the Legacy News is losing out to alternative media as well as FOX.

Quote:
As the news media fragmented overall, traditional conservative media was usurped in GOP primaries by New Wave populist-nationalist media — and some once-influential institutions have died or faded.

GOP operatives work as hard as ever to book their candidates on Fox. Getting on the evening prime time shows like Tucker Carlson Tonight, Hannity, and The Ingraham Angle nets low-dollar donations and visibility with primary voters and Trump himself.

Many GOP primary voters now get their information directly from influencers including Candace Owens, Dan Bongino, Joe Rogan, Dave Portnoy, Charlie Kirk, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and websites like Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire and Breitbart, which dominate Facebook.

The media landscape is so diffuse now — "fragmented, severely sliced and diced," as one operative put it — that GOP operatives aren't leaning on one source overall, or the mainstream media at all, in primaries.

We are witnessing one of those rare political moments that transpires perhaps once in a hundred years.

Our political parties are being transformed.

The Left is collapsing, and a new Right is coalescing.

And it all begins in earnest this November.

Nothing changed, look at the financiers of these groups, they are the same as the old power groups. The message and messenger changed but the actual power structure remains the same.

Daily Wire, Breitbart, Posobiec, Kirk, Bannon, and Shapiro all had and continue to have the same big-money backers that backed Koch and Heritage foundation paying each one of them. Literally the same few deep pocket donors.

Flat out wrong.

When you have Tucker Carlson, the most influential person in the Right Wing universe, railing against the Koch Bros.; you know things have changed.

And we already saw the tangible concrete results under a Trump Presidency - before Dr. Fauci's gain of function man-made virus was imported from a Wuhan Lab.

The domestic prosperity, low crime, rising wages, energy independence, and avoidance of new foreign entanglements just had to go - didn't it?

So you go ahead and pretend that the Republican Party hasn't forever changed under Trump.

But you may want to ponder that the next time you see your talking heads on MSNBC waxing poetic about Liz Cheney.

Like I said, a New Party has risen:

RNC votes to end ALL support for Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger

Quote:
Without a single dissenting vote, the Resolutions Committee of the Republican National Committee (RNC) agreed on Thursday night to “cease any and all support” for Republican Reps. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., and Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and condemned their behavior on the Jan. 6 commission as “destructive to the institution of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Republican Party, and our republic.”

Old party hands told Newsmax that the language of the resolution, which will be taken up Friday by the 169-member RNC at its winter meeting in Salt Lake City (UT), is the harshest ever directed at a Republican office-holder in memory.

“This is far tougher than what I originally wrote and it really says it all about those two,” Maryland Republican National Committeeman Dave Bossie told Newsmax soon after the vote.

People are supposed to cancel elected officials if they do not serve the will of those who put them in office. You are intelligent enough to know that.

The old Republican Party was controlled opposition, Romney is proof that our democracy was a charade. Trump broke the system, and gave power to the people. The RNC tried to deny the will of the people, they wanted Bush. Washington thought Hillary was a lock, they then tried to dispose of him with all of their power at every turn. Trump is far from perfect but he did remind us in this system that our vote can change the world. The swamp in Washington lost but a timely pandemic did something they couldn’t.
