From a standpoint of human compassion it is too bad. However, resilient Ted has amazingly survived until now with his habits. Guess he will eventually meet his maker and take the truth of July 1969 with him to his grave.
All the news channels are just now reporting it. It is sad that anyone or any family have to go through cancer. It doesn't sound like it may be treatable although I'm sure that they will try. I know people including me find the Kennedy;s somewhat irratating and there are sure of family of problems. I think he has given a lot to being a senator and mabe in some ways just being that instead of what his brothers did. I'm a supporter of Obama and he has really come out to support him. All I can say is that it is sad for this family and for all families who deal with cancer.
Several of my friends and my wife have had cancer. Fortunately, they are still alive. Several of my friends have had congestive heart disease that they ignored. They are not alive.
Pay attention to what your body is trying to tell you and you may live longer.
Again, my condolences and best wishes to Ted Kennedy and family.
