The game is to build wealth through assets so it can be be passed down the line to your siblings. If you have no family , well, then you owe nothing and will like it. For the rest of us, it’s a competition to win and set up a future for our family.

That's not how traditional America has operated, which is raising and supporting a child mentally / socially / academically, so that child can go into the world and be successful through his/her own ways and actions. Not just give them a silver spoon to suck on.
What will be missed when the parent is only focused on amassing money to provide? Chances are, the kid will just blow the money irresponsibly, because they've missed the big picture.
Laughable that people actually think they possess anything other then their own life. Everything is borrowed . If it can fit in your grave , then fine , take it with you. All else is a grand delusion set to keep modern day man bickering.
People fight more over ideas than things. If you think that the things you possess are only physical, I don't know what to say. Is your freedom something you possess? Is it yours? Can it be taken away? Just one example.

That doesn't really happen as often as you think... 70% of wealthy families lose their fortune by the second generation, and by the third generation that percentage has jumped to 90%.
