The republicans are poised to deliver a shellacking to the dems in the fall midterms. However, this may not be the best scenario for the 2024 elections.

Both Obama and Clinton were failing miserably in their presidencies until republican legislatures took control and derailed and re-directed many aspects of their agendas. In doing so, both claimed credit for the work of the legislature and were able to convince the voters of this, securing second terms.

Would it be best to just let the dems dig a deeper and deeper hole and not throw them a "life preserver" of a conservative legislature to change and salvage Biden's sinking ship?

The best way to expose the dems is to let them control ANYTHING- they will cause a disaster and show the voting public that they are incompetent. The republicans, in placing sane legislature and preventing Biden from killing the nation, may indirectly help this idiot.

If you allow democrats to have complete control, they will be accountable for all their own blunders. There will be no one else to blame, except they will try to blame the American people. They are already pretty infuriated though. I don't think the democrats fully understand the can of worms they are opening when they fight a cold war on their own people.

While I am no fan of the democratic party, there are very few conservatives that are worth my vote. Mitch McConnell called Jan 6th a violent insurrection for example. This is why people refer to the DNC and GOP as "the uniparty". Two sides of the same coin, and no matter what side it lands on, you lose, just to varying degrees.

Probably if the Conservatives take control of Congress then we'll have six years of Biden investigations. Not much work will actually get done. I.e. same old stuff.

I actually prefer having a Democrat president and Republican legislature as that tends to get good results. Not as worried about credit/blame as I am results.

Yes, definitely I want conservatives to win in the mid-terms 2022. We can't possibly take another 2+ year of the liberal insanity that is now playing out! I can't imagine that there aren't Democrats that are also fed up with the destruction that the Biden administration has put upon our country.

In this case, it will be too late by 2024. We will be done by then. So I think we'd better just hope that the Axis of Evil hasn't thrown our voting machines even worse than they were thrown last time around. Because THIS time, I think the black box technology will have to be able to make up for about 50% rather than just a few percent.

Agree but things are so bad at this point we don't have any choice.

I won't forget how Biden acted. I know a lot of liberals (like Bill Mahar) who also won't forget.

Done? How? You can't take 2 more years of this? I've barely touched the liquor cabinet and after cutting back on unhealthy junk food due to the crappy Marxist infested economy. I'm looking quite a bit more chiselled and barely any flab to be seen

That that doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.... Except dementia of course

You haven't seen nothing yet. Democrats still have plenty of other crazy Marxist inspired ideas/experiments to unleash on Americans... Also, WW3... That is not going to be a picnic for anyone...

Enjoy the somewhat crappy but tolerable times while democrats still allow it...

Yes, most definitely because the direction this administration is taking is destroying the country and people's lives, except for the rich.
