A South Korean Diplomat beaten/punched in NYC in an unprovoked attack. In stable condition in hospital

https://abcnews.go.com/US/south-kore...ry?id=82795284

Not considered a hate crime but seems pretty obvious as to the thug's victim choice.

It would not have been news, but for the fact that they are a diplomat. Stuff like this has been happening multiple times a day over there for quite a while now. There was also a famous musician attacked in NYC about a year ago if I remember correctly.

Did anyone else catch the news of a homeless guy in Seattle beating a female with a baseball bat? Fractured skull, but I hear she will be ok. Homeless guy will be back out on the street in no time I imagine.

Great. Just great. Can’t wait to see future travel advisories in other nations to their citizens thinking about visiting the US. Bail reform needs to be reformed ASAP.

Yes. I think people would be shocked if they actually saw the frequency and viscous nature of the violence that has been playing out on America's streets. A lot of people pretend it is not happening, or it's no big deal, or they just don't know what's going on out there.

This. NYC is a tourist town as much as anything else. Banks and brokers can work from an office and internet. Local businesses need walk in customers including foreign tourists.

But it shouldn't be about tourists or diplomats but residents as well.

Well, it will get worse. Police stops policing, and the only people suffer would be the law abiding citizens.

Good luck. The checks have been signed. Soros has deep pockets, and they know there is plenty more where that came from. There is no turning back, unless you completely rip out the socialists who are ingrained in our current government. They are nervous. They know many people are on to their game. But they will use any and all resources (alphabet agencies and all their tools, greater fools, even the CCP) at their disposal to defend all they have fought for. People did have to work very hard to create these huge changes in America. They are not just going to give up on their dream because you are upset.

I know a few real life socialists. They think crap like this diplomat getting attacked is funny. The struggle is very real.

"Description has not been released"

"Not being investigated as a hate crime"
