There was a guy in Boston in the 1990s who was suing female only gyms.

Not sure what happened there.

Just ask the Boy Scouts.

The are co-ed now.

Even though there are Girls Scouts. Instead of adapting the Girl Scouts to offer what girls wanted, the girls just decided to go after the Boy Scouts.

Go figure.

Well, if you form a private association you have to keep it private and not admit all comers. Personal modesty is an entirely different subject.

when folks start talking about their rights to 'associate with whomever I choose' the next thing they talk about is hiring, admitting to a store or being in a class with whomever they choose.

The leaders of the Girl Scouts refused to adapt. The Boy Scouts do things like black powder shooting, skeet shooting, axe throwing contests. The Girl Scouts still do the girly things like 50 years ago. My daughter is a leader for both. Every year there are fewer Girl Scouts.

Do people here realize that the OP is a rhetorical question? After it is answered, the poster extrapolates from there to other types of discrimination.

Dog whistles.
