It's very difficult for any military to occupy a city of 3 million people if the locals resist. The urban guerilla resistance fighting could go on for months if not years.

Of course the nazification of Ukraine took place much faster and in more aggressive way than Putin expected.

Seven years ago he could have taken the whole South-East with no bullets, and the military there were ready to pledge allegiance to Russia as in Crimea.

After seven years the Nazi metastases coming from the Western part of the country penetrated all society, the South-East including.

Exactly.
It's from the same series "RUSSIA WANTS WAR"

Obama could not get Crimea the first time.
He's back and plans to get it this time.
And squash dreams of Nord Stream 2 while keeping the leaky Ukraine pipeline open.

^True, not our business starting ww3 over. This country has enough problems. JB won't secure the US border but is concerned about Ukraine. Insanity.

Why is Tuesday (the 15th) the deadline here? Remember as well though that history has shown that sping/fall ''mud'' has been an issue from the Mongols to Napolean to Hitler for starters. Today though this won't stop an invasion but could slow it down some.

Brandon already said Russia could do a land grab in Ukraine=the heavy ethnic Russian areas. I could see Putin taking these ethnic Russian but who knows, all, some, or nothing...at a minimum we have the neo-Axis powers Russia & China, with Iran on deck, and N Korea on the side; NATO strained and vastly weakened, very possibly heading to collapse. A full Ukraine invasion and occupation will not be in Russia's interest.

Nothing to worry about though with this tense situation or anywhere else where these hot spots have sprung to life for some reason over the past year given Zhoe Brandon touted his 50 years of foreign policy expertise under his belt.

Or Zhoe Brandon could send his pit-bull VP Kamala Harris over there to intimidate Putin into acquiescence. Putin will fold when he encounters Harris's go to move ''I'm speaking...I'm trying to answer your question (look at the white man trying to talk over an oppressed sista or whatevet identity she's supposed to be for naive U.S. useful idiots)''...followed by her brilliant, defusing any tense situation ''laugh''. Russia and China have no idea what kind of tough intensity driven personalities they're dealing with here. No way will a KGB veteran like Putin have chance going up against the Intimidators known as Brandon-Harris.

Brandon-Harris could also use the common-ground diplomatic move that they also believe, what used to be called Soviet, Communist China etc. propaganda, that the U.S. is a systemically racist capitalist country. Brandon-Harris ran a successful campaign on these same statements as they fueled the racial divisions in the U.S.; so there's full agreement on what was once dismissed as Marxist anti-US propaganda spewed from, for example, Lenin, Stalin & Mao to the present day. Throw Putin this bone that not only does U.S. leadership believe this now but so does half U.S. citizens.

After all, there's a reason our Intimidators garnered the most votes in U.S, history. We can all sleep well knowing we're in good hands.

Because ( my guess), since American embassy in Kiev works hand in hand with Ukrainian government, and now that the informational blockade of seven years is broken after the latest Macron's visit to Moscow, and the Western correspondents are touring Donetsk and its industrial sites as we speak, taking interviews from the locals and so on, that question of the LDNR ( and what to do about it) is becoming more and more urgent.

If the existence of LDNR will be recognized officially as independent states/part of Russia/whatever, then the whole list of "crimes against humanity" committed by Kiev and comprised by Russia can go ahead in the international courts - ( just an example what might come next.)

So Kiev is under pressure to figure out what to do now, and of course it's notifying its master - the US embassy of its plans.

And that's why the pendulum of the "Russian attack" keeps on swinging now back and forth.

P.S. I remind again that CNN crew was not allowed to make it to Donetsk - Ukrainian government wouldn't let them to cross the border into the DNR ( uncontrolled by Ukraine most eastern territories.)

This is what the Western corporate media convinced its citizens of 24/7. In fact, most Ukrainians are waiting for the Russian army as liberators and they are ready for the guerilla war against their western "helpers". I personally talked to some people who live in Kiev and they say we want the US/the UK leave us alone, we don't want them here. It's our corrupt govt wants them, not us.
The Ukraine guerilla resistance will be organized against the neo-nazis and their western "helpers". And guess what? The guerrilla forces will use the weapons that the West has sent to fight Russia.
An Ukrainian travel agency posted their video on YouTube just today, saying that embassies of many countries are fleeing from Ukraine. You have to read the comments of ordinary Ukrainians to this video. Try to translate their comments into English using Google, and you will see what sentiments prevail in a certain part of Ukrainian society. But moreover, you will see how deluded and misinformed you are.

AND we already have 80,000 plus trips over there and send 3,000 additional elite troops from the 82nd Airborne leaving today or tomorrow. Who is beating the war drums??
Could it be the US is wanting to deflect from the mess here at home and provoke a war?
