Ukraine snipers are the one's killing the people of Donbas.

Russia is trying to get them to stop, but the west just covers for them. Eventually Russia will have to do something.

Indeed. Seems that the biggest potential losers here are Western Europeans and most all Ukranians who are playing with fire on both ends of the stick: the US/UK are toying around without much to lose and the Russians view western encroachment as an existential threat, so not much to lose either.

So I try to be balanced about this whole Russia affair. Your point is worthwhile, IMO. But, from Russia's perspective, the US sending additional troops and missile systems into neighboring countries isn't exactly creating a calming affect either. Note, we already station some of our nukes in a NATO partner that borders Russia (i.e. Turkey, which shares a maritime border with Russia), which can't have a calming affect either. Considering that we almost went to war with the Soviet Union during the Cuban Missile Crisis, I'd think that Russia has some legitimate concerns.

Do leaders ever announced a date for starting a war?

so Joe get's a diversion to his lack of any performance as our leader, and Vlad gets the oil. Let's remember that Joes' first action was to stop our oil and give Vlad his. The fact that people actually think POTUS is our real leader is hard to fathom. If a few hundred American's die ah c'mon man!

Joe Biden is the corrupted and turned "elected" leader.

War is business, time is money.

In any case, yes. To cite one example of many, in the first so-called Gulf War in 1991, leaders of the western alliance were very public and very specific about the exact date of commencement of hostilities. I remember setting my watch by it.

Yes, we had actual wrist watches in those days.

Every post you have made is 180 degrees opposite the truth and or misleading, deceptive in nature.

Something is going to give eventually, and since Ukraine is not a nato member, there’s nothing stopping Putin from invading tomorrow.

The west is alreayd evacuating embassy workers, this is exactly what Putin wants and Putin will invade a country before he eventually decides to give up power (or die before giving up his power).
No, nothing will happen.

So long as the modern liberal globalized world order remains intact, there will never be a major war between two nations. Never.

Just some posturing, and at most, some skirmishes.

Was that what happened during the Cuban Missile Crisis when we almost went to war over the USSR trying to base nukes in Cuba (similar to what we now have in a NATO ally of Turkey)?

Bottom line is that, multiple western officials have acknowledge that there was some form of verbal agreement made (even if it wasn't officially made by POTUS) to the Russians to not expand NATO past a certain point. I can guarantee it that we wouldn't take Russia entering into military alliances (and stationing their troops on Canadian and Mexican soil) laying down.

This isn't to support Putin's regime and it is worthy of condemnation on many fronts. But one need not support a regime to be able to see things from their side, which isn't completely unreasonable either.
