You have this form confused with the Reddit anti-work one.

You realize that 'Capitalism' is an 18th-19th century construct, right?

LOL. That is exactly what I was thinking. D Ro puts up extremist wacko positions from each side when he starts a thread. I think it's kinda cool. He is equal opportunity.

American Filapinos don't tend to have large families. I disagree on Mexicans here legally or illegally though as they both tend to have large families. Blacks on welfare also do. At any rate we should not be increasing our population just to fill non-essential, low paying jobs.

Fertility rates have crashed across all economic systems, religions, and races. Only Sub Saharan Africa has been slower to see the decline but it's also happening there. Ultimately there are only so many resources and most people recognize they must have fewer or no children to have the same stuff their parents could afford with 2 to 5 kids.

Blacks have the same fertility rate as every other group except Asians. Every group in the USA is a bit below 2.0 but Asians are around 1.5. Some Blacks may have a lot of kids but they are offset but other Blacks with 1 or zero children. Immigrant fertility rapidly declines from first to second gen across the board.

That said, my first wife had to threaten me with marriage for kids. I almost agreed to divorce. But my daughter was born when I was 30. As it played out, I was mostly a stay-at-home Dad from 3 months to 4 years old. And it was awesome.

She will turn 22 in a couple of months. Her mom and I are no longer married but on friendly terms. When I relocated for a job two years ago, my daughter jumped on the chance to move. We have a special bond and I am glad that I finally gave in.
In my case, I just haven't found the right woman. I never did. And now that I'm in my 30s, I'm stuck with either

1) Women with alot of baggage.
2) Single mothers.

I can't deal with either.

What influenced you to be a stay-at-home-father for a few years?

Lol... Not quite.
In 2019, the fertility rate in the Arab world amounted to 3.19 children per woman.

With a fertility rate of almost 7 children per woman, Niger is the country with the highest fertility rate in the world followed by Angola.

Baggage - sure, it's called living. We all have some.
