Sounds reasonable to me. It would save the lives of countless missing children and the occasional senile oldster that hops in the Pontiac to run errands, but gets lost.
And if your spouse claims they are "working late at the office", when you suspect they are up to no good, wouldn't it be nice to prove where the really were?
I see a lot of benefits to this program with zero downside. When can we start?

Some of the right-wing members on this page have some really strange ideas about what they think the left thinks. (I would assume the opposite is true, but it's harder to tell, since the P&OC forum leans so far to the right)
There is a filter you can apply to adjust forum slant considerably. Just saying.

And to demonstrate my point, here's a couple of folks who apparently know I'm right, but can't admit it, so they respond with meaningless twattle. (That's a word my Grandfather used when Grandma was listening and he couldn't say what he really thought.)
If the government demanded we all (including your kids) put a chip in our bodies so they always know where we are, would you agree to do it?
Government tells you this is in the country's best interest and needs everyone to do it. The chip is not harmful to anyone. Would you be willing to give up your freedom and do as the government demands?
So is does this happen before or after "the government" puts all you conservatives in reeducation camps?
It seems to me those on the left will do anything the government requires if the government tells them it is in the best interest of the country. The government could very well require a chip. I don't put it past them.
I'd like to know if the left would prefer to have freedom of choice, as the truckers are fighting for right now, or if they are fine with doing what the government requires of them.
So long as it remains a government under the control of commies, socialists, 101 flavors of leftists, and progressive putzes....anything/everything it does is a-okay with the liberal herd. Sheeple need strong-arm shepherds to tell them where to go, and what to think.
