Do you know anything about that?
First I've heard about it.

They haven't given a reason, but it has happened before.

In fact it's happened before in many places, including the US.

Yes, but not by that name. The Upper House in the Canadian Parliament is called the Senate.

Only what I've heard on the news, so your guess is as good as mine.

For what it's worth, I've haven't noticed any hiccups with my banking. Bought some groceries earlier, and had no problems with my debit card. I paid a bill the other day through my bank; everything worked just fine. But then, my charitable giving tends to be to inoffensive causes--the local hospital, the local animal shelter, and similar, which would raise no red flags.

I checked back and found that the “outages” were late afternoon and evening yesterday - nothing listed for today except for those bring doxed for giving a donation to the truckers. Of course when those donations were given, there was nothing to suggest that Trudeau would retroactively declare they were illegal and block all they Financial activities.

I think you have enough to worry about in NYC, without worrying about Canada. They have been asleep for so long, that they are in the dark ages.

It was nice while it lasted, Canada, but wake up and smell the coffee.

For those who are not aware of this:

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/busi...bank-accounts/

QUOTE FROM ABOVE LINK, my italics and bold:

The minister, who is also Minister of Finance, said she has specific statistics about the number of frozen accounts that will be made public “in due course, and soon,” but are not being immediately disclosed as to avoid jeopardizing “operational actions.”

“I do want to assure you, and through you all Canadians, that action is being taken. We are seeing it and that action is going to increase in the coming days,” she said at a press conference in Ottawa on Thursday.
[[end quote]

With extreme difficulty, I am refraining from commenting on this.

However, I would like to know what she foresees might be the result is she did reveal the number of frozen accounts and how that might jeopardize operational actions.

Your link says 404 Page Not Found

However, this one seems similar, and it does appear they have begun freezing accounts.

Just saw this:

https://thepostmillennial.com/canada...ccounts-frozen

QUOTE FROM LINK, my italics:

"You've just compared people who have may have donated to this to the same people who are funding maybe a terrorist. I just want to be clear here," the CTV News anchor asked. "This is really important. A lot of folks are just like 'look, I just don't like your vaccine mandates. And I donated to this, now it's illegal, should I be worried that the bank can freeze my account?' What's your answer?"

"Well, I think if you are a member of a pro-Trump movement who's donating hundreds of thousands of dollars and millions of dollars to this kind of thing, they oughta be worried," Lametti said.

I didn't think it was possible, but TDS appears even worse in Canada.

I wonder what sort of outrage there would be if you replaced the word "Trump" with "BLM".
