Just curious - can someone explain (honestly) why this joke about “Brandon” makes republicans so happy? I don’t get it. Not the joke, but the joy it brings to some people….

Because…. it makes the opinion of the entirety of the Biden reign abundantly clear without being vile, vulgar or profane. Does this make any sense?

Who doesn't enjoy a good poking at our elected? When it comes to poking fun at our politicians there is acceptable jabbing like in a sparring match of wits but then there is what they did to Trump. They didn't just poke at Trump they ran him over with a tank.
I don't think we have seen any washed up comedians holding a knife with the severed head of Biden yet and I don't think we have seen any of the Superbowl halftime rappers in a video aiming a gun at a Biden
stand in and pulling the trigger?
At least this video wasn't that far from the truth. The thing is, was it funny or really sad considering this guy is in charge?

For some reason the right seems to enjoy disparaging nicknames for politicians at a disproportionate rate compared to the left.
Both do it, but the right seems to revel in it a bit more for some reason. I first noticed it with Obama. I guess you could consider calling Bush2 "Dubya" was the same thing, but that's a bit different from my perspective.
I don't remember pervasive nicknames for Clinton, Bush1 or Reagan.
