So, after Sunday, do we all agree that Prince had the greatest Superbowl Halftime performance of all time? (school, carry)

Just so magical. I still kind of enjoyed Sunday's performance for what it was but Prince was something else. RIP.
Definitely one of the best, in my opinion. And close to it was the Blues Brothers/ James Brown/ ZZ Top one. Followed by the Red Hot Chili Peppers (minus Bruno Mars).
Certainly a subjective topic (like GOAT in sports) but yeah, Prince is wayyyy up there and #1 isn't crazy talk.
If anyone doubts the guys chops and never got into his type of music (You may like songs of his you don't even know he wrote, there were a ton), this should tell you everything you need to know about how he was viewed by other musicians and how he could hold his own and then some.
Rock and Roll HOF inductions 2004...look at who is performing and who does the guitar solo.
I think its weird that Prince is so well respected and liked today...I clearly remember not too recently, NO ONE would ever admit they listened to Prince, and he was the butt of many jokes, I guess his death changed that?

Ive always been indifferent to him and his music.
Prince was a true artist and a musical genius. He played several instruments, unlike the modern day rappers that can't sing and do not play any instruments.
There are very few artists of his level of creativity, so he DID seem odd to many, but like David Bowie....he was truly a musical genius and highly creative.
Yes I agree, Prince had the best halftime show. I also liked KISS and U2 was good as well. It's funny, I remember the KISS show having a moving stage that traveled the length of the field and back but it wasn't in that video HAWK4042 linked.

Psh. I believed that before last Sunday. Prince was amazing. Not just in the halftime show, but every show he ever played, every album he ever put out. Amazing.
