Hardly a surprise, freedom of speech never applies when it goes against woke culture and the narrative of 'racism' in the U.S. by woke fools. In addition, school administrations themselves must be very proactive in punishing those who go against the woke grain lest they themselves be accused of 'racism' for inaction.
A professor at the University of North Texas is suing the school for punishing him after he pushed back against the idea that music theory is a function of White supremacy.
The lawsuit, first reported by Campus Reform, claims that the First and Fourteenth Amendment rights of professor Timothy Jackson were violated by the school when they removed him from the academic journal he co-founded after he published several articles that students and faculty deemed "racist."

Not specific to the issue itself, but just to give some context, The University of North Texas (which is in Denton, just north of Dallas) has a very highly regarded music program, especially considering it's a mid sized public university. So, that's important relative to its profile since its music and arts programs are what it's known for.

All of those concepts are products of the Honkyarchy and are therefore steeped in racist traditions. It's not obvious at first glance and it's not in your face while being taught. For example, every time a student multiplies two numbers in their head, a part of their ancestral heritage is replaced by the result of the multiplication. That is just one example of the inbred racism inherent in ALL aspects of western thought, it's designed to strip away any sense of racial and cultural self, and replace it with the notion that the White race is superiour. Really, White Supremacy was the original virus and things like music, math, science, etc are the mechanisms by which it spreads, basically CRAVID-447B (CrackerVirus-447BC).
