Trump lost the first round in federal court to block the Jan 6th committee from gaining access to the records. Trump does not have the authority to claim privilege that is held by President Biden. I wonder what Trump is so worried about if he never did anything wrong?

Presidents are not Kings, & Donald Trump is not the President.

I keep hearing Trump is trying to run out the clock to avoid any possible criminal prosecution, but i wasn't aware that treason had a status of limitation.

Treason is the crime of attacking a state authority to which one owes allegiance. This typically includes acts such as participating in a war against one's native country, attempting to overthrow its government...

I think Trump actions would make him qualified to be charged with treason.

I also heard the judge denied it because he didn't want to join the Clinton body count club, lol.

And Hilary and the entire Russian hoax wasn’t treason? Spying on a duly elected president wasn’t treason? Colluding with social media and media outlets like to censor any all negative stories surrounding any Democratic candidate to control the outcome of an election in a collaborated and orchestrated effort is not some form of treason?

Allowing violent protestors nationwide to walk freely without prosecution Simply because they agree with your politics, is not some form of treason? I could go on and on but I’m tired.

Jan 6th was wrong, but trivial compared to the things democrats have been doing for years now.

Funny, I didn't even have to look to know the judge was going to be an Obama appointee. But I did look and sure enough, Tanya S. Chutkan is an Obama appointee.

You can't pretend that conversations between a president and his advisors shouldn't be privileged. Whether or not you like Trump isn't relevant, privilege is an important part of government.

Trump's lawsuit was completely frivolous no judge in this country would agree with his claims.

Why is Trump fighting SO HARD to hide the records? It's one thing if Trump wants to hide things he did before he was POTUS, like keeping his tax records secret, or paying a porn star off to not talk about having sex with him. But Donald is literally trying to keep the American people from knowing exactly what he did on January 6th....WHILE HE WAS PRESIDENT. This is unheard of.

Trump is so used to his money being able to make problems go away. Donald still doesn't seem to realize that paying people to make things go away came to a full stop once he became POTUS.

Thankfully, Trump will eventually lose the executive privilege fight, and we will get the full details about what he did during the terrorist attack on Congress that day.

And another has ruled against dismissing the lawsuits holding him responsible.

“ Former President Donald Trump lost a bid Friday to toss lawsuits holding him responsible for inciting the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol.

Mehta, a U.S. District Court judge in Washington, DC, and appointed by former President Barack Obama, ruled that Trump could be sued for helping to incite the Capitol riot because his “Stop the Steal” speech ahead of the attack in the city was not an official presidential act.“

I hope they acknowledge the clarifying stipulation he made in his statement of "peacefully and patriotically" assembling at the capitol.

If this is just to score some points with the Trump opponent clique then I hope equitably scrutinous lawsuits are filed against other politicians like Kamala Harris for promoting bail of BLM rioters, AOC's "making people uncomfortable" with the riots statement, Pelosi showing acceptance of illicit statue removals, Maxine Waters' incitement during the Chauvin trial, Biden's unretracted defamation of Kyle Rittenhouse, ect.
