Some Chinese buyers are showing their support.
Although many people in China do not support Russia, either group has a huge population.
----------------------------------------
Currently, most of the products in the shop are sold out, prompting the outlet to put up a video in which Sergey thanked Chinese shoppers for their support for Russia “at a difficult time like this.” “In this complex and changing international situation, we see the friendship of our old Chinese friends,” he said in the video, which was released yesterday (March 2), according to Guancha. Sergey also urged Chinese customers to “shop rationally.”

Yes, invading a neighboring nation certainly makes for a "difficult time." And if you think you are having a difficult time, you should see how difficult a time the folks you are bombing to oblivion are having.

When were the Chinese and Russians ever "old friends"? Even when they both were communist, they didn't trust each other. Actually, I think Brandon pushed these two old rivals together and united them against the west. China will turn on Russia if and when financial pressure/pushback is applied and it will be back to business as usual.

I don't believe this one bit,..lol.

Just fake propaganda.

More like,..the Party got a couple dozen 'shoppers' to go wipe out a store and then have film crews film it and report a scripted , ' wow! They love Russian products!".

A lot of Chinese are stuck in Ukraine right now because the CCP publicly assured them that Russia wasn’t going to invade. But we know now that China knew privately and tried to get Russia to hold off until the end of the olympics.

If there is support for Russia in China - it is likely due to state media and their control on the narrative. Because the facts show that both Russia and China screwed up big time here.

China has got lukewarm on this Russian tie. Time will tell if China increases trade with Russia in imports to lessen a sanctions blow?

India is more the surprise to me and if the US sanctioned India. Less American business going to India might not be a bad thing for more done in America.

The CCP and Putin are going through a rough time. The CCP is distancing itself from Putin. But I believe it's just an act to confuse the West. They are sneaky. They smile at you and shake your hand while stealing islands or IP from you.

Yes... and that is a constant challenge for me as well. I have a very hard time (at times) not unloading with the profanity.

I wonder how long it will be before China decides why buy the oil when we can have it for free and takes over eastern Russia.
