Interesting note: I observed a white person, who is very outgoing and sociable, move into a majority-black neighborhood, and it made the neighbors quite uncomfortable. I'm still not sure why this is the case.

Do I need to spell it out to you?

I think this is the best thing I've ever seen you write. I often dismiss you because you start getting into unnecessary legalese about what you think ought to be instead of what actually is.

I do want to add, even if they compensate you for your property, aren't they getting the money from you in the first place? And aren't they then taxing you on the capital gains?

Does he want to pay private school tuition for your children if you buy in a neighborhood where the public schools are lousy? I don't think so.

He should have been fired on the spot.

No government in America is allowed to tax a right. Only privileges are taxable.
Most Americans are unaware that ownership of private property is a right (untaxable). Whereas qualified ownership of estate ("real estate") is a privilege and taxable.
. . .
So if there are taxable "capital gains," there's some privilege involved.
LAND. ... The land is one thing, and the ESTATE in land is another thing, for an ESTATE in land is a time in land or land for a time.

A communist government like the one we have in Washington DC and in all the institutions, where the majority are "democrats" will inevitably destroy the way in which we have been exercising and operating the Real Estate profession since 1913 under the canons of ethics and fair competition as mediators.
NAR is no exception among leftist institutions in the US.
Unfortunately, the vast majority of Real Estate agents and brokers are affiliated with the Democratic Party for Socialism and Communism, and they are the ones who are putting the rope around all of us and themselves. It will be too late when they realize that Communism is already crushing them.
I rightly saw all this coming more than ten years ago when I was discussing the subject with my broker and some colleague. They told me that I am a visionary by way of being very incredulous of what I was telling them. Yes indeed, I am a proven visionary.

All it takes for evil to succeed is for good people to remain silent.

They're not socialists, they just want to own and control everything, like every capitalist does.
Capitalism is when people mutually consent to exchange their property or services. Both people are better off or they wouldn’t do it.

Government is force.

Capitalism controlled by government is fascism.

Considering that you live in a town where only 4% of the population doesn't "look like you," I have to question your credibility to lecture others on these matters.
