That doesn't mean there aren't criminals who deserve a good smack in the mouth, or boot to the face. But that's not what a police man's job is. There is a code of conduct that police are required to abide by, and if they get caught breaking those rules, there is discipline and possible removal from duty.
It was more complicated than that. It was not just being a dirty cop or smacking bad guys around. Our military and agencies were not going rogue it was following orders. We did a lot of regime change. And most of it turned out far worse than if we just stayed out of the situation.

I agree its time for us stop meddling all over the world. But that leaves a vacuum. Putin understands we are a nation that is tired of war and conflict. So he is not going to have any resistance from us and NATO is inept so they won't do anything. Same with China and Taiwan. We have to be fine in whatever might happen with us standing down.

When you create a world wide co dependent economic society (economic globalism)... your getting into bed with many morally depraved, economic abusers. One day you notice a rash, then an infection. The doctor says you made a bad choice and the medicine to make you 'better', is gonna be unpleasant. Bend over.

Look in the freakin' mirror. Blame that person.

Weakness invites aggression. Peace through strength. Don't be obtuse or ignorant about history.

Biden got 5 student deferrals on the Vietnam war than supported the Iraq war and all the other non-sense between. However, the only people Biden seems to intimidate are young women that he can't seem to keep his lips and hand off of.

The purpose of NATO was to stop the spread of Communism. Since the Soviet Union collapsed, what is it's purpose now other than to continually expand closer and closer to the Russian border?

If he takes over Ukraine, it's largely because he feels it is part of Russia, not just to exploit the NATO alliance. Trump wanted to cause friction in the NATO alliance, and it dovetailed with Putin's plans.

Putin won't invade Finland or Sweden - the countries weren't part of USSR and they don't even speak Russian there, but he would cause instability at their borders, like how China does with all the countries it neighbors like India. He'd likely try to stir instability with their democracies as well.

The West wants to keep Ukraine as a buffer between the EU and Russia.

Holy cow... what a misguided thread. This puppy belongs on some icy plain in Antarctica, it is so far out there. Or maybe another planet. How about Europa (moon of Jupiter)?

Trump wanted the Europeans to take the lead and quit relying on the US to finance their defense. We were paying 71% of all related/material/equipment costs. It's a good thing he did! The Germans climbed right into bed with the ruskies... like political whores.

Russia has already invaded Finland in the past... didn't turn out so well . The Swedes are no fools when it comes to the ruskies, their military readiness is on par or greater than NATO's.

China is the 'financier' of all this crap and if the west cared anything about a corrupt Ukraine as you say... they would have come to their aid. Germany sent 'blankets'.
