The Texas Attorney General disagrees with you.

Do you understand what's going on here? I don't think you do. If you did, you couldn't have written that sentence, because that determination is specifically what this thread is about.

Read the first link in the OP. You know, THE THING WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE.

I do want parents to make decisions for their kids, but that doesn’t mean I want them to be able to do lasting permanent damage to them. The list of decisions I think parents have a right to make, but are not choices I would ever make for my own children, is practically infinite. There is however also a list of choices that they don’t have a right to make.
  • They have a right to provide their children with what I think is flawed education,
    • they don’t have a right to not provide any education,
    • nor do they have the right to provide one so lacking the child will not be able to support themselves in the future.
  • They have a right to give their kids what I consider some pretty cockamamie values,
    • they don’t have the right to have their child help them shoplift,
    • they don’t have a right to have them participate in their Saturday night swinger parties.
  • They have a right to decide the amount of independence their children get,
    • they don’t have the right to leave their 4-year old home alone while they go to work or a party,
    • they don’t have a right to allow the kid to drive before getting a license.
  • They have a right to refer to their child by the pronouns they/them, change their child’s name, choose the clothes they are willing to purchase,
    • they do not have a right to give them medications that might sterilize the child,
    • they do not have the right to have surgeries done on their child to remove their gender associated body parts.
Yes, parents have a right to make decisions for their children, but no, they do not have a right to harm their child. And, the more permanent that harm the less right they have to do it.

Agree with you completely on this one!

Yes, they are. Puberty blockers cause irreversible damage (not 'pause the process' as one uninformed poster here asserted). At least someone is standing up to this. The book "Irreversible Damage" by Abigail Shrier lays it out. For those who don't read (and whether or not you care for Jordan Peterson), she had a dialogue with Dr Peterson about this on his YouTube channel.....It's absolutely frightening what this process does to children. Because they are children.
I would support Gov Abbot in whatever measures he feels are necessary to stop this madness. He probably has to throw everything he's got at the problem to get just a few measures in place to slow this roll.

You know, I believe it's Oregon, but one state will allow a child to proceed with gender reassignment measures without any parental involvement.
This is sick ****.

Don't think I could have said it better.

It is just really sad that some can't understand this.

If you believe that supporting the removal of breasts from a 13 year old girl who's going through puberty without any physical, medical justification is a moderate position, you're an extremist. Since most extremists don't realize that they're on the extreme, I thought you might like to be informed of that.

They can't because they refuse to entertain anything out of their groupthink directives

Mutilating children is now basic human rights to Democrats and Progressives

I noticed that a lot of the people promoting the medical & psychological destruction of these kids are a lot of the same people who promote forced vaccination.

What is it with these people demanding control of everyone else's bodies? And the hypocrisy is astounding. "You can't tell this person what they can/can't do with their body" and "You must do what I tell you with your body" create quite the paradox.

Any one of you who I'm referring to (you know who you are) can chime in anytime to try and work out this logic problem for us.
