“Bulgaria will be more than happy to have Varna as a logistics hub for grains and sunflowers and distribute all the grains that you cannot through your ports,” Petkov told a joint news conference in Kyiv.
I don't understand. Everyone says Ukraine is winning but they keep losing cities and the whole country gets more destroyed every day. I don't see any evidence of Russians getting hammered and losing ground if you ignore CNN and actually look at the war map. The Battle of Kiev never happened. You cannot take that city with 40,000 soldiers so that was just a fake out to keep ukrainian forces trapped there while Donbas assault was getting underway. Divide and conquer.
I have posted this video several times and it is as relevant today as when the war started. Basically Russia's military has been exposed as a paper tiger. The Battle of Kyiv DID happen....there was just a gross miscalculation that Russia could decapitate the Government and that there was still strong Russian sentiment in Ukraine. Wrong! The Ukrainians routed the Russians out of that theater....it was not a re-positioning...this is evident in the sheer battle ground casualties Russia took and the amount of equipment and personnel left behind along with the public relations disaster of war crime atrocities in Bucha and other cities.
Russia does not have the logistics to attack with anything more than 1 to 2 BTG's at a time and have yet to demonstrate anything else. They simply don't have the infantry needed to carry out this campaign while keeping a peace time footing. This is Russian MP Nevzorov, who served in the Russian parliament and is a journalist (either dead or on the run) making predictions in 2021 about what would happen if Russia invades Ukraine. It's eerily accurate. People in Russia knew the state of affairs
US is exploiting EU to drain it and slow down economical disaster, developing in the country. At the EU expense. If you look at all the sanctions, EU so eagerly tosses at Russia, they, finally, benefit only US. Just look carefully.
Unfortunately they are not of benefit to the millions of fixed income seniors, now forced to re-join the work force; while the gov prints billions to pay for this war.
Rah rah U.S. of A.
He who gives the illusion of world peace, has the strongest monopoly money; dollar at its' highest level since the war in Iraq.
These are 2 different points of views... As you can understand.
Or, you know - here's a thought: It's a mutually beneficial arrangement. They exist. A concept that is hard to get for those who see every interaction as either giving it or getting it.

In either case, it's US that will pay for Finland and Sweden defense. We gained 2 more free riders for years to come.
How to tell that you know nothing about Finland or Sweden's defensive posture without posting "I know nothing about Finland or Sweden's defensive posture".
It's really quite interesting to watch the lowering of expectations being spun by Russia's spokespersons in this thread. Like a methhead trying to steal a car but ultimately just getting away with the contents of the glove compartment and the loose change in the cupholders - "Look, I scored!"
