Russia is going to declare war on Ukraine officially on May 9th so Putin can boost his support as a war time President. US is now sending a new drone was unknown to the world. This war is quickly becoming the drone war of the future tanks are the land battleship.
You're right. Drones are the key weapon now....tanks are so WW2 ...they're just moving coffins
And the US has the best, most advanced drones...keep sending as many as possible

Putin got away with biting off a chunk of territory here, a hunk there, claiming that whoever lived in these areas actually wanted to live under Russian rule.
Ukraine tried to force the Russians back to their own borders, but it was a David and Goliath struggle, and no other nation wanted to get into it with Russia.
Then a couple months ago, Putin decided to see how much more Ukrainian land he could grab for his dream of restoring imperial Russia.
This time the fight was on.
Day 70.
Kyiv still stands.
Russian army has retreated to the coast, but it is unclear what they are able to do besides bomb cities to rubble. They are basically in the same place they were several months ago, minus a lot of tanks, soldiers, and generals.

This attack has been an incredible bonding experience.
Once the Russians have been driven back to Russia, the Ukrainians will no doubt go back to complaining to each other about unfair treatment. However, it is hard to imagine after this experience that a majority will want to cast their fortune with Russia.

I hadn't heard/read that yet, but it certainly wouldn't be the most preposterous poop Putin has promoted!
I am so weary, sad and angry regarding Russia's aggression and this war...I can't imagine how utterly horrific it must be for the Ukrainians.

Yea...they lost their most prized flag ship....in a land war...against a country that doesn't have a Navy...that can't feel too good.
I think arguably their most prized ship is the carrier Admiral Kusnetzov, which carried off the impressive feat of sinking a drydock in 2018, then catching fire in 2019. Huh. Perhaps Moskva really did catch fire on its own.
Secretive Phoenix Ghost drones sent to Ukraine. There is not much info about this drone. There is not even a picture of it. According to most sources, it's every similar to the Switchblade drone. The difference is the Phoenix Ghost can loiter for several hours while the Switchblade can do so for only 30 minutes. The DOD is essentially field testing these drones in Ukraine.

Ukraine's west, including the central region around Kyiv - 93% remain united
Ukraine's east including the southeast and border with Russia - 70% remain united (Substantial 'don't know')
Ukraine's east, Russian speakers only - 58% remain united ((Substantial 'don't know')
Crimea - 46% remain united
Other findings:
Lack of confidence in the central government. Only half in western Ukraine trust Kyiv to protect personal freedoms, far fewer in the east. Russia is viewed with more suspicion then either the US or ER. 67% say its having a bad influence on Ukraine. (For all stats there can be large categories of 'I don't know').
No difference between western or Eastern Ukraine or between Russian-only speakers and others on concern for possible ethnic conflict - about 75% think it a big problem.At the time of this poll, clashes between pro-maiden and anti-maiden supporters had been occurring for months. In the Donbas, separatists had occupied government buildings. The Donetsk People's Republic declared about a week before the field interviews began.
Impact of the “Right Sector” - 34% of western Ukraine give it a positive evaluation but only 7% in the east.
Of course not. Don't believe your own eyes - believe what some polls ( god knows conducted by whom and where,) are telling you.
But the troubling picture that even polls are presenting, actually only confirms what you can see with your own eyes in that video.
