It's incredibly amusing and totally predictable how a lack of context, a failure to grasp facts, and the absence of understanding history makes one susceptible to such simplistic conclusions.
Perhaps you just missed the many thoughtful posts, from numerous folks, that have provided the historical, social and global context that disprove your redundant and inaccurate accusations which claim everyone else has made simplistic conclusions.
It is indeed a long thread and it is sometimes easy to miss the words of others when one is emotionally upset and angry in the face of such disturbing unrest and menace--- that we are all witnessing with Russia's atrocious invasion of Ukraine...which is the title of this thread. In case you just overlooked these posted facts and context I offer some for your digestion.
Vladimir Putin's government has mounted a major aggressive war against Ukraine. This is about the sovereignty and self-determination of Ukraine and all nations. It’s about Russia’s refusal to recognize Ukraine as an independent nation, which it is, and its about Putin's rejection of a post-Cold War Europe that is whole and free and was at peace. Putin's "War of Choice" is a crisis with global consequences, and it requires global attention and action.
Russia continues to turn away from agreements that have kept the peace across the European continent for decades. Putin continues to fixate on and threaten NATO--- a defensive, voluntary alliance that protects nearly a billion people across Europe and North America--- and his government threatens the governing principles of international peace and security that all countries have a stake in defending.
The United States and our allies and partners in Europe are focused on what’s happening in Ukraine because it's bigger than a conflict between countries. It’s bigger than Russia's phony complaints about NATO. It cannot be stressed enough, this is a crisis with global consequences, and it requires global attention and action.
The doctrines & principles, that were established after 2 world wars and a long cold war, state one country does not have the right to change the borders of another by force. One country is not permitted to dictate to another the policies it wants or the choices it makes, including with whom to associate or join. And one country cannot make efforts and take actions to dominate and crush its neighbor nations.
World leaders agree: to allow Russia to violate those principles with impunity would drag us all back to a much more dangerous and unstable time. For example when the European continent and even cities were divided in two, separated by no man’s lands, patrolled by soldiers, with the threat of all-out war hanging over everyone’s heads. It would also send a message to others around the world that these principles are expendable, and that, too, would have catastrophic results.
In good faith, the nations of Europe, the USA and our NATO allies diplomatically tried to address the escalating demands and claims Putin made. Russia did not engage in good faith. The claims were disingenuous and phony, and his lies and false flag operations were agitprop and cover for his intent to invade, occupy and dominate Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin's government is the entity that is ravaging the agreements that kept the peace across the European continent for decades. It is the despotic Putin who has violated the governing principles of international peace and security that all countries have a stake in defending.
Vladimir Putin has mounted a major aggressive War of Choice that has the potential to creep across Europe and menace the world. European nations, the USA and NATO allies are diligently trying to de-escalate and curtail this. Full Stop.

I’m thinking maybe Putin got a bit of an unexpected shock all the support Ukraine got from all the other countries , well I’m hoping so , might give him second thoughts , and if he backs down it’s certainly not Biden’s doing , it’s the people!
In Asia and Africa, Ukraine is not getting any massive support
China India Pakistan israel Iran UAE Saudi Nigeria Egypt are not interested in boycotting Russia.

He has his own kind of armor going on, and I think it protects a very specialized type of spot.
It's imo a slightly less dignified situation, but hey that's just me, ymmv, yada yada, ...
This isn't about us.
This is about Russia, and Ukraine.
What business would our president have, taking the stage day in and day out to discuss this?
Sometimes, what you do when something doesn't involve you, is sit down and let those who are affected have the stage, having quietly voted to send them a large amount of non direct military combat support.
Elon Musk and Anonymous are keeping Russia from shutting down Ukraine's communications and are interfering with Russian cyberattacks - doing what the Biden WH won't.

This is good news. Do you think it would be wise for the US Govt to have a direct hand in these actions against Russia right now. They are already pushing the limits of what they can do. Ukraine is not a NATO country.

Why should it really? Lots of tragedies on these continents with sometimes the world barely noticing. To some extent, this is a European issue about what to expect from one's neighbors. Here's a tweet from @TristanSnell:
Switzerland and Sweden were neutral even during World War II.
Today Switzerland is freezing Russian assets, and Sweden is sending 5000 anti-tank missiles to Ukraine. Putin has united and awakened the free world — perhaps more than ever before.
The Russians: “Common, let’s leave politics aside! We just need fuel!” Georgians: “Russian ship, go f..yourself. Glory to Ukraine! And you can always use oars, so, row!”

Yes! Elon to the rescue keeping the internet afloat in the Ukraine with his Starlink satellites. Ukraine asked, he delivered.

How do you know what the Biden WH is or isn't doing, or the other world leaders and their administrations for that matter?
And here we have it again folks...petty, partisan, political innuendo that only serves to aid and abet the enemy.
Surely you don't think the tidbits of released public information are all that is occurring during this world crisis? You can't possibly believe that our very knowledgeable and supremely competent POTUS and the other esteemed world leaders, and their tireless administrations & intelligence agencies and military --- all of whom are working around the clock to resolve this crisis created by a despotic megalomaniac named Putin---are going to broadcast all their plans and plots and information and actions?
It is puzzling to me, why so many on this thread and across the entire forum, seem to have a voracious appetite for sabotaging the endeavors and undermining the seriously complex and determined efforts of the good guys of this world. The good men and women leaders and their teams who are diplomatically and strategically, and in good faith, doing what they can to prevent the triumph of evil--- all the while they juggle the protection and promotion of the economies and societies and democracies of the diverse citizens they lead in their own countries.

Sanctions against Russia will have limited effect if Russians are able to do trade with Asian and African countries.
Russia is able to sell wheat to Middle East and Africa, arms to India and coal to China in return for whatever goods they want
By contrast north American and European airlines will suffer massive setback by not using Russian airspace.
