Imagine if this line of thinking played it when it came to the US military butchering innocent people in the countries it has invaded. None of us want to be on the hook for all of those wrongs.
Ukrainians don’t want to on the hook either.

Look I was against Afghanistan 2001 (something incredibly unpopular) and Iraq 2003. I have been against all the saber rattling over Iran.

But WE deserved to be punished for those wars. USA was simply too strong to be punished. So we escaped, lived our lives as normal while Iraqis and Afghanis died, died due to direct and indirect decisions by our government.

Gotcha, I just went back and it was another poster who said that the Russian citizens "should" face consequences.

At least you are consistent with your logic. If Russians deserve to be punished then so do Americans for all the stuff their government has done.

I disagree as we dont have any say in what the government does. I never signed off on any of those wars.

That's strange. I don't know of any examples of a military using uncoded communications. It's either fake or a trick.

I am assuming this is to Ukraine's advantage. Will it change the outcome, or Ukraine is going to lose anyway?

I keep reading that there is something seriously wrong with Putin. I think it was Paul Ryan who has access to top secret intelligence who said there is something wrong with him. He means something physically wrong, like an illness. And then also when Putin meets with even his own officials they sit at each end of a 13 ft long table--socially distancing to the extreme. Also, people have mentioned his face and neck are puffy as if he is on steroids and that steroids can also cause mental changes. Besides all that, in 2015 he disappeared for a while but no one would admit he was sick. AND lately giving a speech he had a terrible coughing fit which the censors deleted from his speech.

So one theory is that he knows his time is limited and anyway, some medicine is making him crazy, and instead of taking the Ukraine bit by bit he is trying to get it all at once. I truly hope he fails in all ways, fails at living too. We do not need another Hitler in this world.

The Daily Mail is claiming that the Belarus President shared a military map of his rocket strikes that accidently shows Russia's plan to attack Moldova. Not sure how true it is, but I wouldn't be surprised anymore if Putin just rolled in there as well. It was once a Russian territory, not part of NATO, has few defenses, and as a newer country is pretty corrupt and unstable.
