Germany is providing logistical support to Ukraine, and has entered the conflict.

The United States, by allowing Ukrainian pilots to take off from its military airbase in Germany, is providing logistical support to Ukraine, and has entered the conflict.

Which would mean that all of NATO has entered the conflict...

I do not see any way for any nation to get any planes into Ukraine without entering the conflict. This planes business is very dangerous. And if they are cooking up a smuggling operation in which a group of breakaway nationalists or this or that NGO "stole" the planes and smuggled them into Ukraine, I guess I wouldn't be surprised but everyone would know that is BS. And such a stupid idea could easily be a mistake that draws us all into WWIII.

No, someone will comply and they would launch.

And I'm sure Putin does not care about that convention.
Many NATO countries are providing material weapons support to Ukraine even without these MiGs.

The videos of Ukrainians downing Russian helicopters and jets in the economist article were impressive.

Good job, then they don't need NATO countries joining in.

They’re bombing childrens hospitals, I don’t think they will have any restraint with a nuke. What do they care exactly when they not have not much to lose?

I saw that, it was reported that they hit a maternity ward. But is it true? All the news we get out of Ukraine is going to be pro-Ukraine right now. Not to say the story is false, just hard to tell right now.

I'm in agreement with you. I think the planes should be held back for Ukraine for after the war, if they are still standing. I'm simply responding to the issue of how Ukraine could use them if their airports have all been disabled.
