- Obviously, pray for them. And ask them what is going on often. And check after the war if their opinion is changed. Don't listen to any patriots who aren't there.

Interesting conversation with U.S vet who specialized in armored vehicles and logistics about Russian vehicles getting bogged down in Ukraine. Highly recommend for any military nerd. America would wipe the floor against the Russians.

Check their opinion after the war... I have some friends there, one in Mariupol, one in Kharkiv, and some in-laws near Lviv. They might not welcome Russians for the invasion itself, yet they blame local authorities for holding them hostage (those in Mariupol and Kharkiv), and those who were able to escape the war told the stories about lack of any civil order in the Western Ukraine. Obviously, none of them is going to wave Ukrainian flag when the war is over.
You also can watch Russia Today (RT) with English captions just for a little while (it won't indoctrinate you), to get some raw footage of what is going on there on the ground.

My company has an office in Odessa and is paying to get the employees and their families out and to safety. According to them, what you are posting is complete Russian fantasy. Russia is the evil actor here and everyone in Ukraine HATES Russia.
False, I do not support aggression or violence by either country. I hope both countries negotiate soon and end this conflict.
