There is reports (hard to know what is actually true) that Azov battalion was using human shields and not letting them out of the city, it looks like they are either defeated or on the run. Russia seems to have leveled the city. There is Chechen fighters there, it sounds like hell on earth for these citizens. This is a largely Russian speaking city.
That site seems to be just another anti-Russian site, judging from the writing. So I would take the provided information with a grain of salt. There are so many lies out there...
I hope the nazis, that used civilians as shields and staged false-flag attacks on civilians, will be terminated for good.
I was just going to post that, reported in the Kviv Independent based on a statement by the Mariupol council.

I hear this from those who stayed in Mariupol and they have a mobile http://connection.My Friend said that tanks drove up and they ordered everyone to leave their houses and started shooting at houses (??).I have relatives there and now they have been sent to Russia.
No wonder comrade erasure kept insisting that civilians from Mariupol be forced out and "evacuated" into Russia. She never did explain why anyone from Ukraine would voluntarily flee into the aggressor's country - now we know. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.

Maybe it will but "set to fall" and "on the verge of" is not the same as "has fell". For days 10-17 I listened to the media tell us every night how Russia was "closing in" on Kyev.
The people we watched crawl out of the rubble today told us their relatives in Moscow didn't believe them. Videos of their destroyed home were met with 'it's a fake' or 'Nazis did it.' *Every* bond between Ukrainians & Russians - familial, cultural, historical - is being broken.
So if this is true Ukraine has actually added the number of tanks in their arsenal. This is just mind blowing. Since the start of the war, the Russians have lost the equivalent of the Canadian Army land forces (+/-).
I believe they started with 1000 tanks, so they have lost 25% in three weeks. That is unsustainable.
#UkraineWar: The Russian Army is now visually confirmed to have lost more than 250 tanks since it began its invasion of Ukraine on the 24th of February.

According to the Berdyansk city council, the convoy was heading to Berdyansk from Zaporizhzhia to pick up fleeing Mariupol residents but was stopped by Russian occupying forces near the village Azovske, three kilometers from Berdyansk.

The convoy was not allowed to enter the city limits and the drivers were not permitted to spend the night.
