The difference is Trump was respected he could move the embassy to Jerusalem and win the hearts and minds of both the Taliban and the UAE and Bahrain, no blood in the sand

Trump also United the North and the South as a New York politician who actually won the hearts and minds of southern states
Trump was obviously respected , reluctantly or not , he was a negotiator
He knew how to make everybody happy
You wouldn’t need even one sanction to get Russia to comply. Trump could even probably get Russia to give more land to Ukraine and probably with much respect from Russia , even trump could get Russia to donate oil to America free of charge and they would
