People are weak these days, puh-lease. You clearly know nothing about what the men and women of this country would do if our homeland was attacked. We literally just wrapped up a 20-year war instigated by airplanes being flown into commercial buildings and killing thousands of Americans. Were you in a coma when everyone came together from both sides of the aisle beating their chests and waving their flags, promising a devastating retaliation on those responsible parties?

Probably 60 during a true emergency. Paul Douglas enlisted at age 50. Anyone who thinks that previous generations were not tougher, stronger, smarter and better than our spoiled, entitled weak, complaining selves is simply delusional. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Douglas

1. Doubtful. Germany and most of the rest of Western Europe's only source of natural gas is Russia, and it's still winter. The US is dependent on Russian natural gas for a large part of it's fuel thanks to Let's Go Brandon halting the Keystone Pipeline and energy production on federal lands during his first month in office.

2. More inflation. Let's Go Brandon could relieve much of the upward pressure in prices by allowing construction of the Keystone Pipeline to continue and by allowing energy production on federal lands.

3. There is no draft.

I’m just so sad for both the Ukrainians and the Russian soldiers who were misled. They are expected to kill their neighbors and even relatives. They were led to believe they would just go into Ukraine and the people wouldn’t resist.

Shades of the "Winter War" in Finland.

The situation in Ukraine is unraveling at such a level anything can happen. It may be naive to think NATO including the US will not intervene militarily. We have a situation where thousand of freezing, starving Ukrainians are flooding into places like Poland.

We haven’t seen fighting and a refugee activity like this since 1945 during WWII. I suspect there are already NATO special forces embedded in the Ukraine. Russia is facing an economic meltdown due to sanctions and may be desperate to defeat Ukraine by any means available including chemical warfare, massive cyber attacks and tactical nuclear weapons.

I totally agree and disagree with others who have posted saying the US will never get involved and there is a Zero chance of a world war. We just don’t know how things will -lay out and cannot predict who will get involved and if Putin is just crazy enough to use the nuclear option.

There is a better probability that this will not occur, however no one can predict with a high level of certainty what will and will not happen due to the Russian invasion.

Agree, we don't know what that madman will do.

Both of my parents were Hungarian immigrants, I still have relatives over there living in other countries. A lot of people are the same, friends and relatives in different countries. My heart breaks for everyone involved, especially the innocent people.

Isn't it very interesting that both Zelinsky and Putin have the same first name?

Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelinsky
