My question is how would U.S. involvement benefit most of its citizens?
Maybe (probably) I am missing something obvious, but the only benefit I can see to the U.S. getting involved would be to those who always benefit from war such as munitions manufacturers.

I think the key words are "some" involvement. But define "some".
I am against any action that further hurts Americans. Period. I am not up for compromise.
But it is clear from replies to Biden's tweets that there are plenty of liberals that embrace the US sending other people's sons and daughters off to war. Much like they embrace confiscating other people's earnings.
