If this actually happened in the first place, you mean?
That's true. There's so much that would have had to occur for this to happen as it has been told, that I question the validity of it. That's why I posed my questions, not necessarily at you, but to help other think this story through.
Ordinarily I would agree that vendors should not refuse to do business with someone based on ideology, But here I wonder if Penske was concerned that the use of their very identifiable liveried truck in a truck convoy may give the incorrect impression that Penske was itself participating.
I would assume that was a rental truck, that somebody had rented.

US Freedom Convoy Trucker Left Stranded After Penske Corporation Turns Off Power Remotely to His Rental Truck

Texas Trucker Jeff Sandberg was left stranded this week after Penske Corporation turned off the power remotely to his truck. Sandberg was heading to Washington DC with the Freedom Convoy truckers.
Penske shut down his vehicle on the road and later released a statement on how the company does not support the freedom protests.
Sandberg’s truck was hauling “Let’s go Brandon!” and “People’s Convoy” signs.
There is probably more at play here. And honestly, you think this damn site is a reliable news source? Did you know there are also conservative news sites that are not credible as well?

I gotta admit, that's pretty funny. He seriously RENTED a Penske truck to join the convoy? Oh my.
Not going to lie, I did find it kind of amusing, because...

How did the people at Penske find out about it? I'm sure they don't go through every one of their customer's social media accounts. Someone had to identify him and identify him with the truck and prove it to Penske....
Maybe someone saw the video on Facebook and forwarded it to Pensky?
I'm sure they don't want their rental vehicles involved in crimes, like obstructing roadways, which seems a very likely end goal for the renter.
Renting a truck to pretend to be a trucker is kind of silly. This convoy is filled with small passenger cars. Seems like the trucker wannabe could have just driven his car.

Protesting is nefarious? Blocking roadways is a crime?
Are you two able to point me to any post of yours claiming the same during the multiple BLM riots?

Had the driver been a solo owner operator this would have been perfectly fine.
No major corporate company (other than those in the tech and media industries because they are in bed with the hard left) wants their brand used for anything that can offend anyone.. Penske was protecting their brand. Really that simple.
