Ukraine is a member of the united nations, and as a member should be protected by un forces.
How come the un is not in Ukraine helping to defeat the Russian forces?
UN should have kept every war from happening since its inception but it has done nothing, while its secretary generals keep getting Nobel Piece Prizes. Well okay maybe it has prevented some wars, but not some really big ones like Nam, Soviet Afghan, Iraq/Iran, African Warlords etc etc.
For the most part, they do nothing but jam up Manhattan traffic, and make lives for NYCers miserable.
I wonder how much it costing all the members. Its probably not worth it and should be disbanded. It seems like now its just a prestige employment opportunity for privileged people. Gives them something important to do and inflate egos.
If China invades Taiwan, then you know its a waste.

Chill. US clearly dumped Ukraine over a month ago. Now it's just talk talk talk. Sanctions, that Russia is prepared for anyway.
Remember, you recognize the tree by its fruits and man, by his actions. There are no real actions, just a show of them. No one wants to die.
The UN model of nations that can veto is flawed.
Those that start the aggression, invasion, those in question, should not have veto power, they should not be allowed to vote at all when the vote is about them.
That said, the UN is fantastic, nations come together for the sake of humanity. Absolutely necessary and arguably the most important global meeting of the minds we have. Those who say it should be abolished can't see the forest for the trees.
