It’s one of war’s most brutal weapons. It pulls oxygen out of the air. The resulting blast is second only to a nuclear bomb. And Russia’s using it against Ukraine.

Thermobaric bombs/missiles have an explosion similar to that of a small nuclear bomb and everything within a certain radius is completely obliterated.

A huge explosion in Cherkasy Ukraine may have been the detonation of a Russian Thermobaric bomb:

Russia is really upping the ante.
A very strong response by NATO may be needed, sanctions aren't going to cut it if Russia starts vaporizing entire towns or cities.

It's not a banned weapon though.

This is a very popular weapon in Russia. The launchers were seen entering Ukraine. You just have to look it up.

Any media piece that starts off with “confirmed” is typically followed by a bunch of lies

Doesn't mean the military will follow orders to fire.

Here you go. Putin's spies/sympathizers here won't be able to deny it. This is not a banned weapons, so NATO should supply Ukraine with them too, in the name of balance.

I don’t like the proxy war this is turning into. Russia will escalate, the EU and NATO will respond until it’s a full scale war over a non NATO country? Zelensky needs to come to an agreement with Putin very soon and commit to not joining NATO in return for staying in office and Ukraine remains independent from Russian control. Zelensky can be a hero and Putin can have an out with the commitment to not join NATO
