Less range on average, but the cost of running and maintaining is much lower for EV. Plus, no filthy and ghetto gas stations to deal with. Most people would be better off with an EV
Thank you for speaking for everyone in Amerika comrade. Inside every liberal there's a Stalinist begging to get out.
All I did was wonder about the "filthy and ghetto" gas stations. Haven't seen any of those for years. Of course, I don't go into the ghetto often.
I wondered about the ghetto reference too. I lived in New Orleans for ten years including 2005 when Katrina devastated the city. I didn't have electricity for over a month. An EV would have been useless to me. My Jeep Wrangler never let me down. The logistics of evacuating a major metropolitan area like New Orleans, Houston or Miami for a hurricane is challenging enough with ICE powered vehicles. Long lines clog gas stations on evacuation routes and those gas stations that remain open frequently run out of gas. Between Baton Rouge and New Orleans there are currently less than 20 public charging stations. Not everyone that owns a car has the money to install a charging station in their home and what about people that live in apartments? Not all landlords are going to be willing to install a charging station on their property. Until there's a demand for the private sector to build more charging stations and their range improves EV aren't a practical alternative for people that live in areas that are prone to hurricanes.

i KNOW I WON'T. Once gas went over $3.20 a gal for prem last march i was done and got a EV that cost me $6 a month.
Not everyone can shell out tens of thousands of dollars for an EV, because gas prices temporarily increased. Especially considering that the price increases are caused by political decisions, and are not a reflection of the reality.
