Shutting down the pipeline made businesses worry about future supply issues, buy up more, driving prices higher.

Biden shut down the Keystone Pipeline - true. (Transporting the crude oil by railroad & tanker trucks enriches Warren Buffett and increases costs to the consumer).
Biden also stopped leasing Federal lands in Alaska’s North Slope area that had been opened by Trump.
Biden’s BLM... the real one.... refuses to permit new drilling in the Bakken where the feds own land.

Not only Biden but Obama, John Kerry and Algore are funding the Russians with their multiple mansions, multiple SUV's and private jets jet-setting worldwide to tell everyone to walk everywhere they go.

That's when the oil companies started manipulating prices again. They can and do manipulate prices and supplies in response to seasonal or domestic situations and to reap benefits for shareholders. Prices vary widely all over the country for various reasons. I am now paying about 20-cents (7%) more than I did for the past 18 months. Some states have much higher increases. We had stable prices until our legislature started considering a bill that included fracking restrictions and then the price rose...surprise, surprise.

Your fact checkers were opinion pieces too, if they think it is appropriate to ignore businesses building up reserves due to worries over future supply issues.

BlueanonSunseeker,
Nonsense.

The Obama-Biden administration was unmoved. The Wall Street Journal reported at the time that “President Barack Obama stuck to his refusal to provide weapons or other lethal military gear to Ukraine.” Why?

Team Obama feared that lethal aid would provoke Moscow.

So what did the administration give him? Instead of rocket-propelled grenades, we provided food rations. As one frustrated former Pentagon official put it at the time, “What kind of message does that send anyway?”

Answer: a message of weakness.

When Trump took office, he delivered a message of strength. In December 2017, the new administration announced that the United States would send the lethal aid to Ukraine that Poroshenko requested and Obama and Biden refused — the sale of $47 million worth of Javelin antitank missiles.

Obama did not sell lethal weapons to Ukraine. Trump started in his first year. Biden undid Trump's policy of getting lethal weapons to Ukraine in his first year.

Putin owns 4.5% of Gazprom and BOTH Obama and Biden supported Gazprom's Nordstream pipelines. Trump opposed Putin's Gazprom Nordsteam pipelines.

Trump pushed NATO countries to spend more on military. Where was Obama on this issue, yep, AWOL. Are you suggesting that Putin supports more NATO military spending?!?!

Trump pushed US military units further eastward in Europe, do you think Putin wanted that.

I think you listened to Rachel "Queen Blueanon" Maddow a little too much and probably still think that the Steele Dossier is authentic, because Hillary paid good foreign agents including a Russian agent with ties for Putin for the info.

Or maybe because he was Putin's lackey, Trump enabled him. Ever think of that? Partisan eyes just look away. The idiot still praises him.

The articles quoted a petroleum analyst for GasBuddy. It wasn't an opinion.

Trump made NATO spend more on defense. Why would We need 12,000 Americans to defend Germany, the best economy in Europe? After 77 years, We can't train 12,000 Germans to defend their country? LOL

When is Russia invading Germany? Obama refused to give Ukraine lethal weapons for 8 years and did NOTHING when Putin expanded in 2014 and was for Russian pipeline deal with Europe but Trump's is the Putin's lapdog? You live in a bubble of b.s., you can't even smell the stink anymore. Your nose got used to it.

Well if not falling into your "right wing" pigeon hole, then Russia is a nasty dictatorship nonetheless which jails and kills opponents.
And the reason there are U.S. troops still in Germany now is glaringly obvious right in our faces. The dangers of Putin's aggressiveness are something to worry about. Alliances are far more effective than single actors in this drama.

You also need to take off your partisan blinders.

Speculators and businesses bought more due to questions of future supply - Keystone pipeline plays into that.

The same fact checkers ignoring this today, were the same ones that at the time said gas prices were not likely to rise. Guess what? They have.
