Don't they realize that Russia has been methodically selling off it's US treasury holdings and accumulating gold and cash? And that combined with China and some other countries - this could get very, very ugly. This is all about control of natural resources and money. The west has their propaganda machine going at full steam. What do they expect Putin to do if he is losing and cornered? Simply give up and not use the weapons he has ? The financial system may crack globally and then you will see just how smart the stupid leaders in DC really are. This could have been avoided through diplomacy - but the USA and other fiat nations need an enemy to distract from their collapsing monetary systems. This is the Dems/WEF leaders push for a reset before the November election.
Yep, that is what people fail to understand about this, Russia is VERY VERY important on the global scene, if their energy was suddenly turned off or cut off, that would have a domino effect on other countries...

I wonder how the US and Europe would fare without electricity for a few weeks?! Its said that the amount of time it takes for your friendly neighbor to reach the point where he would kill your entire family for whats in the fridge, is about 5-7 days.

There's second-generation Asians in the US who were BORN here that still refer to "Americans" as a group separate from themselves.

The US IS Energy independent as in ELECTRICITY. We make our own and are not reliant on Russia for natural gas to run power generation. Europe on the other hand is screwed if Russia shuts off the gas
