Never going to happen. Mexico is another one of those tax havens for the politicians and super rich. It's also a good place where corporations can dump a plant and not worry about massive sea ports. Just use the railway systems, semis or even a quick float across the Gulf of Mexico.

Only recently. Most illegals here are still Mexicans.

Heck no. He’s one awry President- doesn’t protect his own people. Hope he gets voted out.

From 2017 Pew Report.
Mexicans decline to less than half the U.S. unauthorized immigrant population for the first time

Blurring the lines between the visa over stayers and the border jumpers does not change the fact that most borders jumpers were and still are Mexicans.

I agree with the Mexican President 100%.

And why would they? Not their fight. Also, go talk to Brazil and Argentina. Not to mention Cuba and Nicaragua. LAtin America has no beef with Russia. BRIKS did them no wrong. Russian oil and gas are MUCH cheaper, than the US one or, Russian one, bought and resold by speculators.

Plus, as I said long ago. Akela missed. US showed its weakness, pulling from Afghanistan and, now, its might will be tested by many.

Mexico has cheap labor and lots of land. It does not have particularly free markets. Pemex is a good place to start.

Mexico does not have a strong free market as you point out. Lopez Obrador is a far leftist.

Lopez Obrador often cites a guiding principle of nonintervention in foreign affairs, so nothing new.

The trade between the 2 countries is insignificant anyway. And do you think Mexico is going to begin taking rubles for its goods? It is blocked from using dollars to buy Russian products.
