Purchases from Russia rose 24% in 2021 vs 2020.

Biden is releasing 30 million barrels. Why is he not banning imports from Russia for 1.5 months, then? Under Biden, we buy roughly 20 million Russian barrels/month. The release offsets purchasing for 1.5 months.

Cant ban it.. Need to keep that petro dollar money moving and exchanging.... thats the whole point... however Russia has been using less and less dollars to trade its oil

They froze my Russian Gazprom stocks .. I bought when it crashed because I know they wont ban their gas..

Makes no sense to not ban their oil but ban their stock. Until the do that , I am not taking any of their sanctions serious.

We get ~8% of our petroleum products from Russia. You want immediately higher gas prices? Stop importing from Russia tomorrow.
