They are all social democrats, not actual socialists. None of them have advocated for central control of the means of production.

and you are wrong about base stocks - I mean fercripesake, you do not even not know what they are. Certain petrochemical base stocks, which we can still use in refineries to produce 'stuff', we are no longer allowed to MAKE. there is a difference. hence, we now mail into the USA what we used to produce BY ACCIDENT.
Care to name the base stocks that are outlawed?

Since I live essentially, ON this super large gas field where I happen to heat both my homes from, stop by, grab a helmet, and we will do a nice ATV learning/interpretive tour of same. can you drive a clutch?

(yes, we can legally ride on the land, our best kept secret)

a random view, 'out my back door' of the 2nd largest national gas field in the US:

Provide a Federal rule that bans fracking on Federal land.

I am going to guess I know far more about gas, oil, fracking, production, etc than you, since it's part of my job.

Oil companies are not going to expand in an uncontrolled manner here. They lost too much money the last time that was tried.

I don't really care whether gasoline prices go up. There is no right to cheap gasoline, and I can afford a dollar or two a gallon more without too much trouble.

None of them have made nationalizing the means of production as part of their platform. They are more social democrats than anything.

Simple question. I look forward to a discussion on this topic, especially from the left.
Sanctions on oil would harm the U.S., Russian citizens and Europe.

If it might be at some port exported to china (why the frig would anyone want to add THAT to shipping costs when russia share a common border...) was because during the trump admin, we didnt need it.

we were well on our way to converting traditional oil consumers, into gas consumers...we were energy independent.

I keep admonishing everyone to a) discover what KCS, CP and CN are and b) why that is significant as of march 2021.

Instead all we hear is trump bad, biden good and no one ends up knowing ANYTHING about what goes on in your own country... boggles.
Once again after the refinery the oil was designated for China, the pipelines be would not be built if not for oil. It was easier cheaper to sent to Texas via pipeline rather than Canada’s west coast. Our exports were balanced for one year, 2020 for the reasons explained. Our increased natural gas production from fracking was key.

Look at the title of this thread again if you want to claim this is partisan. Russian imported oil is nothing new but now it’s Biden’s fault.

That's not what social democracy means.
