These people are a threat to national security… They’d rather fund the enemy than help the pocketbooks of Americans. They have no business running government, and I think Americans will let them know that this November.

Isn’t it better to drill here, where we have environmental rules, versus Russia where they don’t care about the environment?
This whole administration is Enemies of the People, might just as well wear their hammer and sickle ties every day because that's who they are.

On top of that, they're almost universally unbelievably stupid.

What a Bozo.

I agree in some cases permanent solutions to temporary problems is usually not the best way to go but we are talking oil here not putting a gun to your head and pulling the trigger.

It sure seems that the Biden admin is NOT working in the best interests of America and they are either inept with the way they keep shooting themselves in the foot OR they are doing it on purpose.

We need the oil now. We do not need to be paying Putin for it and we certainly do not need to be making any deals with countries that would wipe us out of they had the chance.

Bring it all home. Let's help ourselves then we can help the world. Trump knew this and tried to make it happen yet they fought him over it. What is so wrong about MAGA?

Another Biden official that is over his head and doesn't have a clue.

Mayor Pete couldn't get potholes fixed in South Bend.

He is right. Build more nuclear plants and radically expand our renewable energy infrastructure. So that we don't need to get our energy from abroad. Make us truly energy independent not fake energy independent like in the Trump era were we still imported Millions of Barrels of Oil every day from countries that hate us.

#1 - Doesn't answer the questions asked.

#2 - Assumes there is a bottleneck in production that can be addressed by .gov.

They are that stupid. If there was ever a doubt, they open their mouths and confirm their idiocy.

Yeah but he checked the right DEI box. Like Kamala, the SC nominee and that weird cross dresser from PA.

"......Buttigieg said, “Look, the president has said that all options are on the table. But we also need to make sure that we are not galloping after permanent solutions to immediate short term problems, where more strategic and tactical actions in the short term that can make a difference, like what you have with the strategic reserve, which exists partly in order to respond to situations like this.......”

WTH is that word salad all about?

But he’s so smmmaaaarrrrt!

Isn’t he preoccupied with realignment of ‘racist’ highways?

This guy is such a joke. He should take some pointers from Elon Musk; an ‘all of the above’ energy strategy would be so popular, but we know Democrats won’t do that. He and other Democrats want to inflict pain on the American people, as they love a good crisis.

"All options are on the table"? Great, when can we see them start laying down new pipelines? Or did he mean "All options that suit our agenda are on the table"?

And no, Buttigieg, the Strategic Reserve is not intended to address price fluctuations to make a politician look better. It's intended to address actual shortages to keep them (the shortages) from harming our economy or our way of life.

Oh how I yearn for someone who actually likes this country to be in charge again.

(P.S. Just to be clear, I'm addressing my comments to Buttigieg, not to the poster who quoted his words.)
