I don’t understand. How will people who can’t afford electric cars buy one. How can you have solar panels if you can’t afford them? Will you be forced to have no utility? I grow tired of all the rhetoric. Just my opinion , 1 year is all that has passed we were doing so well. And we are now,living the Democratic nightmare. That's my take on it, too.
Pay a little extra for other people's oil now, charge a lot for ours later.

Of course, that's great from the oil owners' viewpoint; consumers--including Americans--will just have to keep paying more and more.

1. The US doesn't produce nearly enough oil to cover its consumption

2. The bulk of US oil production is from fracking. That oil is too light to be useful, and must be blended with heavier oils.
