There were some great nuns at my school. One sister often tutored me for 2 to 3 hours after school several days a week on her own time, but there were some nuns, and not just a few, who were vicious. I saw one nun put a boy's head right through a chalkboard wall...not easily done!

Seems Teachers, think they can abuse Kids nowadays, in schools. Didn't happen when I went to school.

It happened when I went to school...a lot!

One of my middle-school friends was literally strangled by a teacher.

Yeah, I know, that sounds bad, but if you knew the kid, you would probably feel sorry for the teacher.

Having said that, I'm glad this sort of thing is no longer tolerated.
