Her. Two degrees. Not a liberal and I was born in the 70s. So yeah. Am I old and educated enough to play now?
The Roman Empire fell after one misplaced move? What on earth are they teaching you over there?

Willful ignorance. Give Americans a map of Eastern Europe with only borderlines and watch us struggle to identify the countries. Heck, I bet most won't even recognize that it is even Eastern Europe.

The same people who shrieked the lie of Trump Russian collusion will yawn at this and expect their media to bury it.

Trump opposed Putin's pipeline, Obama and Biden didn't.

Trump armed Ukraine with lethal weapons, Obama refused and Biden refused until the invasion was imminent.

Trump demanded more NATO spending, Obama and Biden didn't.

Obama told Putin he could have more flexibility to be naughty after the election despite having already attacked Georgia and then mocked Romney for saying Russia was a geopolitical adversary.

Biden's son takes bribes and wow Biden suddenly flips all of Trump's anti-Putin positions on arming Ukraine and opposing Nordstream.

And in the Trumps, the oligarchs found plump targets. One Russian billionaire hosted Ivanka Trump and her husband, the President’s senior adviser, Jared Kushner, at a gala in Moscow in 2014. Another has links to a $500,000 payment to Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen in 2017. A third ran a propaganda operation that pumped pro-Trump content into the news feeds of millions of American voters. In the heat of the presidential race, a fourth tycoon arranged the meeting where a Russian lawyer offered dirt on Clinton to Trump’s closest aides. And then of course there was Deripaska, whose years of fishing for friends in Washington eventually got the chairman of a presidential campaign on the line.

The U.S. has begun to hit back. In February, the Justice Department indicted one oligarch, Evgeny Prigozhin, for his role in the 2016 social-media-influence operation. In April, the Treasury Department sanctioned two others, Deripaska and investor Viktor Vekselberg, freezing their assets and limiting their travel, in retaliation for their work for Putin.

The oligarchs say they are doing nothing wrong in advancing Russia’s interests at home and abroad. Reviews of legal records and interviews with oligarchs and their associates in Russia and the West show just how far they have gone. They also show how deeply they penetrated the 2016 U.S. presidential contest, and the campaign of Donald Trump.

Russian President has turned his country’s wealthiest men into a loose but loyal band of operatives. In exchange for lucrative deals with the government, or simply protection from the authorities, these billionaires have gathered contacts at the highest levels of U.S. politics, high enough to influence policy in the service of the Russian state. “These are cats that like to bring dead mice to the Kremlin,” says Mark Galeotti, a leading expert in Putin’s influence operations at the Prague-based Institute of International Relations.

MUELLER INVESTIGATION

Title: When Trump won, Putin deployed his oligarchs
After an election marred by Moscow's attempts to buoy Donald Trump's candidacy, the Russian president wanted to cash in.

“As soon as news broke that Trump had been elected President, Russian government officials and prominent Russian businessmen began trying to make inroads into the new Administration,” Mueller’s team wrote in their final report.

In other words, after Trump pulled off his surprise victory in an election marred by Russia’s attempts to sow discord and buoy Trump’s candidacy, Putin wanted to cash in.

The attempts entailed outreaches “sanctioned at high levels of the Russian government, through business rather than political contacts.” Putin’s chief concern, according to Mueller, was getting the incoming Trump administration to roll back the U.S. sanctions hampering the Russian economy.

Two of the wealthy moguls succeeded.

Dmitriev was able to get a Putin-approved U.S.-Russia “reconciliation plan” to Kushner, who passed it to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson. And Gorkov scored a meeting with Kushner during the transition period to discuss U.S.-Russia relations, according to Mueller.

Andrew Weiss, the vice president for studies at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, where he oversees research on Russia and Eurasia, called the details of this outreach “striking.”

Mueller’s nearly 450-page report granularly describes this and related episodes, revealing how Putin explicitly encouraged his country’s wealthiest and most powerful businessmen to make contact with Trump’s transition team after the election. The directives help explain the “flurry” of contact the oligarchs made with Trump’s associates in the weeks following the reality TV star’s unexpected victory, Mueller wrote.

Even though Mueller did not establish any conspiracy between Trump’s team and Russia, the special counsel’s report shows how important it was to Putin to establish a backchannel line of communication to Trump’s transition team — and how receptive Trump’s associates were to the overtures.

“As soon as news broke that Trump had been elected President, Russian government officials and prominent Russian businessmen began trying to make inroads into the new Administration,” Mueller’s team wrote in their final report.

* Lots of MUD AND SLINGING by all these high rollers. Mueller did not get convictions. But all the links were found. NOT JUST HUNTER seems unlikely also links proving and bribes are found. Close ties to Trump's team to Hunter yes....

These oligarchs.... clearly were rats Putin used to infiltrate ALL SIDES POSSIBLE....

This isnt conspiracy theory. Does anyone doubt that the mayor of Moscow or his wife, would have close ties to Vladimir Putin? Isnt it funny that sleepy Joe has only been accused as "underestimating" Putin? Or that he is unwilling to put sanctions on Russia that would actually hurt them, like not buying their oil?

Democrats have been trying to hide Hunters well documented influence peddling for years, as well as ignore what favors daddy doles out to earn them.

The blood of the nation of Ukraine is all over the Bidens. Its pouring out of Hunters crack pipe. It covers Joes ice cream cone. Bidens corruption is harming our national security and world peace.
Yes, no doubt Putin invaded Ukraine because of a $3.5M wire transfer to Hunter Biden from this rich widow.

Corruption isn't a partisan issue, but tolerance of corruption sure is. Most people reliably excuse the malfeasance undertaken by members of their own tribe to varying degrees, and many of those people will justify their lack of moral consistency by pointing the finger at their opposition — even if they have to distort or lie to do so. I'll hammer all sides equally in that regard.

Can you theorize any plausible reason why a Russian oligarch would just gift Hunter Biden.$3.5 million with nothing expected in return? Maybe they feel sorry for American crackheads who cant afford a fix?

The PAYMENT is documented fact. Hunter was not in a position to do anything for them, it wasnt an investment, it was an outright gift..

This is a time when Hunter, despite Joes lies claiming otherwise, often accompanied the vice president on official trips abroad.

It takes a certain amount of willfull intellectual dishonesty to not acknowledge some reason for concern here. Its also not MY conspiracy theory, this has been reported by many sources. Can we PROVE to YOUR satisfaction, that Bidens complete disinterest in Putins aggression leading up to the invasion, and continued ineffectiveness is related to Hunters unexplained windfall?

Well no, but since youre a democrat complete dishonesty and destruction of our shared destinies is to be expected.
