No one was paying Stone a dime when he said those comments. They were all said in 2020 during the filming.
In fact, Stone surprised the filming crew many times, as he allowed them in to be filmed at times when the crew expected to be forbidden, or barred and left to wait in the hall.
Stone doesn't want money from this project. He wanted the fame, and he's getting it big-time.
There were times when only the audio was captured by the crew, and they told Stone they had it, but he didn't care. But there were several times when Stone did order them all out, and there were also times when he forbade any material from being used.
Roger Stone is a hell of a lot like Donald Trump. They are both arrogant narcissists, love to be the center of attention, and have used each other for most of their lives to get what they want. One thing they share is the absolute confidence they can get away with everything and anything they do.

So all these people Trump appointed, claiming the best for the job. Many fired as well .... maybe questioned their chiefs policies too much when he wanted YES men. Are poor now? What a way to leave your former confidants.

Trump voters just parrot Trump. Anything negative about Trump has to be attacked. And those individuals saying negative things about Trump are horrible people with no redeeming qualities at all.
