Ukrainian President Zelensky Tells U.S. Congress Who He Believes Is Responsible For Russia’s Invasion: Report

"Senate sources said on Saturday that Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky pinned blame for Russia’s invasion into Ukraine on Democrat President Joe Biden’s refusal to enact sanctions against Russia before Russia launched the invasion.

Zelensky told Senators that if the U.S. “had started sanctions months ago, there would not have been war.”"
He is right:

1. weak and inept invited the world's enemies to press their advantage

2. failed in diplomacy with Russia to prevent invasion

3. Should have met with both leaders in the same room and hammered out an agreement (this is about oil and water).

4. Failed to prepare NATO in advance of invasion

5. Did not arm Ukraine adequately as a deterrent to invasion

6. Sent an even more laughable "representative" (Giggles) which probably encouraged Putin to invade even more.

7. Obama installed a government that was hostile to Russia in 2014.
There's no point in blaming anyone. The US is not the world's nanny or daddy. He's responsible for his country and that's that. If Ukraine hadn't given up their right to mass produce nukes, maybe this could of been prevented. There's no use pointing fingers now. Ukraine needs to surrender.
I don't live in Ukraine. I live in a great country called the United States of America. We got nukes here. No need to quit.

AKA, Zelensky reportedly told unnamed Republican Senators……

Why are these Senators requiring anonymity?

At this point, Zelensky is desperate and needs to blame to save face. He wanted a NFZ which would have required NATO to protect and defend Ukrainian airspace and take out Russian planes. NATO declined.

The Senate was unable to come up with recommendations within and across party lines in the days leading up to the invasion. Rand Paul and Bernie were outliers. Menendez blamed McConnell for undermining Republicans.

Seems Biden Admin continued to focus on multi- lateral sanctions.

US traders and refineries have been buying oil from Russia for nearly 30 years, including 2020 when there was a glut of oil. Thus far, this year, US traders and refineries have not purchased any petro products from Russia. Not clear how such trades would be settled if they did.

Great way to garner support. Blame the leader that did NOT invade your country but not the one that did. LOL.

I'm pretty sure anybody who wants to be taken seriously would admit that the sole person to blame for this mess is Vladimir Putin.

I would highly suggest scrolling through this thread and blocking anyone who says Biden is responsible for Russia invading Ukraine. You'll be exposed to a lot less false information while here in the P&OC
