To be honest, Zelensky started "slipping" very far resulting statements. First, he said that Ukraine will make it sown nuclear weapon, what ibecame official trigger for special op beginning.
Now, he bluntly humiliates the president of the USA in eyes of the world.
There used to be a Russian Ezop type poet, Krylov. He had a short poem about circus elephant, walking down a town street. Suddenly, a small pincer dog starts barking at the mighty animal.
Last poem lines were something like:
Hey, pooch, must be very mighty
Barking at the elephant.
He's either very stupid or, was drunk again or, his handlers start writing him off as political figure

All that was done was pointing it out.

If the US had put sanctions on unilaterally it would have been ineffective. Trump all but destroyed NATO and Biden had to rebuild it before unified action could even be considered. Think about it. Switzerland is in. Sweden is in. Hungary is in. Japan. South Korea. Everyone is in on sanctions so severe no one thought it possible. Putin stands alone (with Xi who is about to pay the price in shame for supporting a madman). When the whole thing is over, Biden's leadership will go down in history books as among the greatest accomplishments of modern times.

I agree that Ukraine needs to surrender. What is Zelensky doing to end the conflict? Sending his own citizens to fight and begging for cash and weapons will only further this problem. I just don't see how he is, in any way defusing the situation.

The Ukrainian president is using drama and emotional blackmail to pressure the west. His goal is to see NATO and US fighting Russia. Being alone in war sucks. Misery likes company.
He has several “suggestions” like imposing a no flight zone. What would happen once Russian planes are getting shot down? Will Putin remain quiet?
