I don’t think most Americans grasp what is fully going on with Russia and Ukraine, myself included but are adamantly standing by Ukraine and wanting to get involved no matter what. People just jumped right on board without much understanding.
It’s easy for people who are wealthy to say that we can endure higher costs for food and fuel to support Ukraine when it’s actually not easy for many. I’m not interested in millionaires telling me what I can
afford.

The USA imports only 7% of their oils from Russia. That number can be easily made up for with increased domestic production. The EU, on the other hand, gets about 40% of their energy from Russia. This is why a ban of Russian energy is very unlikely.

Wheat shot up 40% last week. Fertilzier hoarding is beginning. Price is skyrocketing, and gas is up .40 in one week....
This will have a HUGE impact on food prices world wide. I dont think people understand how high the cost of food will be in the next coming weeks to months....
