American citizens in WW2 made incredible sacrifices, so the war effort could use the resources...but today, American citizens are not willing to do anything like that...

Basically their support for Ukraine is only in words, (maybe thoughts and prayers too).
You're equating a regional conflict (at least at this time) with a world war.

You should also note that no one in the US was sacrificing anything until the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. And, even then, had Germany not declared war on the US the focus in this country would have been on Japan and not Europe.

Once war was declared then the sacrifices began.

When percentages are given, it means percentage of imports, not consumption.

The US has imported petro products from Russia for nearing 30 years, including Trump years. That the US did so in 2020 when there was a glut, here, there and everywhere is a tad bizarre.

When we say US, it means traders and refineries, not the federal government.

Reportedly, no one has bought petro products from Russia, this year. Not clear how such trades would be settled, if they did.

Reminds me of how back in 2014, politicians and media were demanding Obama ban all flights from the Ebola hot zones in Africa- never mind there were no such flights.

The U.S. imports about 500,000 barrels of crude oil from Saudi Arabia per day and we sell them weapons and Saudi for years are committing genocide in Yemen and nobody in America gives a cr@p.

That's why these people are so full of hot air. They are the worst.

A minority in Congress strongly favor the US support of a No Fly Zone over the Ukraine.

This includes Senator Wicker ( Mississippi) who some view as the military hawk’s military hawk.

Doing so would require US fighter jets patrolling Ukraine airspace 24/7 and taking out any Russian planes and potentially losing some US planes and pilots too.

Fortunately, cooler heads have prevailed, for now.

We have a bunch of over-paid chicken hawks elites running our government and spending our money and making bad policies after bad policies. Scary.

Any endurance can be erased entirely or greatly mitigated by Biden reversing his reversal of Trump's energy p[olicies!!!!!

It is because of Biden that ultra rich star trek guy asks us to endure.

Are you ready to suffer because of Biden's insanity imposed on the world???????

biden owns the Ukrainian invasion and all the slaughter his buddy Putin has ravaged on Ukraine!

Biden is more of a criminal than putin as Biden has waged chemical and biological war against the USA!

chemical warfare in the form of Chinese /drug cartel distribution via open borders which has resulted inthe leading cause of death for 18-46 year old US citizens

Biological warfare by blocking use of off label covid therapies and concentrating covid positive illegals and then dispersing them across the country.

Will not tolerate skyrocketing gas prices as they are the result of a mentally deficient idiot pretending to be POTUS and played by the extreme left, China, Iran and Russia.

There are reasons why Bush, Obama and Trump opposed allowing the 9/11 families to sue Saudi Arabia.

There a reason why Trump and hundreds of accompanying businesses made Saudi Arabia his first overseas trip and boasted about selling them weapons.

Saudis military cadets in the US for training murdered 3 US navy personnel in Pensacola. US accepted the “ few bad apples” explanation.

Except when it doesn’t have to be a sacrifice, we could drill our own. It’s not freedom to depend on other countries
